This charm bracelet blog brings an important update regarding the ticketing system for the upcoming Great Lakes Boutique Bead Bash on the Lake event. Please note this applies to in store guests only.

The Great Lakes Boutique Bead Bash on the Lake event runs from Friday May the 3rd until Sunday May the 5th and obviously at this stage preparations are in full swing. The event has grown so much over the last couple of years (thank you all,) that it has become more important than ever for us to have an accurate headcount of in store guests. What follows is really important information for those of you attending in person.

At Great Lakes Boutique we run things a little differently. We consistently keep two different bead inventories; one for our in store customers and one for our online customers. The reasoning behind this is to ensure that our online clientele are offered the same quality of beads as opposed to being handed the left overs after the in store event ends. This takes quite a lot of logistical work behind the scenes.

For the first time the spring 2019 event is ticketed for those attending in store. Fear not however, the ticket price is actually just $1 and we’ll be refunding it at the event. It’s important however to obtain and keep those tickets. You can purchase your tickets via the link below:-

The order number that accompanies your ticket will be used for a few things during the event. It will be the number that qualifies you for various prize drawings. It will also be the number used to give you access to the event beads. It’s essential that you either download or print your ticket and your order confirmation. You’ll receive this via email as soon as you place the order and it will look like below:-

We’re ticketing the event purely to help with stock allocation and catering. If you’re bringing along friends or family, please purchase enough tickets for your group.

We understand this is a change from previous years but truly we are doing this to help create a better experience for everyone.

    Events are so difficult logistically, tickets make perfect sense to help steer that difficult course.

    Event tickets make complete sense to me!
    I am a little curious about how it’s being done.

    First, are there a limited number of tickets?
    Is advance purchase required? What if someone shows up without a ticket…?
    Also, is the potential loss of $1 really going to stop no-shows?
    I’m not sure how accurate a count you will get but pretty sure it be better then with no tickets, lol.

    But I do find the process very confusing!!! Couldn’t we just have to check in a the event and be handed a lanyard with the needed tix info. It could double as a name tag, and even as a souviner… jusst my 2 cents.

    Regardless, I am expecting it be a fun event….
