Happy Easter with Easter Charm Bracelets!

This jewellery blog article celebrates Easter Sunday 2013 with Easter charm bracelets.

Easter is an interesting time of year. Aside from it’s obvious religious connotations, it’s the first real holiday many will have enjoyed since Christmas. It’s a time of over indulgence for many of us and usually, a time for celebrating the first signs of spring.

Earlier I highlighted one of my favourite aspects of Easter with the help of the new Ohm Beads Chocolate Bar charm. Easter offers as guilt free chocolate as we’re likely to encounter!

Part of the fun and appeal of charm and bead collecting is the opportunity to create themed bracelets. Indeed many of the brands out there debut dedicated charms for such occasions. For Easter 2013 I wanted to offer a little inspiration into themed bracelet combinations, featuring many different brands.

Easter Charm Bracelet Showcase

For the first bracelet I opted for honey coloured and amber hues, a slightly unusual choice perhaps but with all the recent buzz surround the Trollbeads Royal Orange bead, I’ve been digging through my collection searching for orange toned beads. The silver beads are all themed, with my retired Trollbeads Rooster, Hen and Chick in the Egg taking focal roles.

Undoubtedly many of us are today over indulging in chocolate. I have a ridiculous sweet tooth and Belgian chocolate is a particular weakness of mine. It seemed apt then to honour this (or at least attempt to) in a themed charm bracelet. Initially I retained the themed silver beads and selected an array of brown, cream and metallic hued beads.

While I liked the idea of the colour scheme, I decided the silver beads just didn’t work. With this in mind, I opted to switch in my limited edition Trollbeads Chinese Silvers. These are incredible silver beads, bringing real continuity to a bracelet. In addition their cohesive nature allows the glass beads and colours to be more of a focus.

Easter Charm Bracelet Summary

The latter combination boasting the Trollbeads Chinese Silvers and chocolate tones proved by far my favourite. Regular readers will be aware that I’m having a love-hate relationship with stacked charm bracelets at present. While I think they look amazing in certain promotional images (particularly Pandora’s), I find they tend to look cheap when I attempt them myself. Considering this I’ve been mixing silver charm bracelets with more contemporary versions to create an edgier look that perhaps just suits my own sense of style better.

As always though I love to hear from my readers. Have you been wearing an Easter themed charm bracelet? If so what colours and charms did you choose? I hope you have all had a wonderful Easter weekend with lots of chocolate 😉

What a fun entry! I hope it’s matched by the fun of your day.

How freakin’ cute is that Ohm Chocolate Bar!!! Not very many of their beads are actually right for me but they have a sense of humor at that company and I love them for it.

Victoria, love all your pretties. The Chocolate bar is awesome and funny. Like rainey love their sense of humor but still do not think they would suit me, Ohm style really makes me smile.
    Happy Easter all

All of your bracelets are beautiful, Victoria, as they always are! I am particularly mesmerized, however, by the Ohm Lux beads. 🙂 I love how they add shimmer and depth, without a rhinestone effect.
