Aurora Charms Hatching Dragon

The charm is retailing at $68 and is fully compatible with Ohm Beads or Pandora charm bracelets. Aurora have ensured the design is carefully weighted to prevent it flipping upside down either on a bracelet or traditional necklace.

Ancient Dragons are ultimate symbols of cosmic Chi (energy). It is said to be the most potent symbol of good fortune in the Chinese pantheon of symbols. As one of the four creatures of the world’s directions, the Dragon stands for new beginnings.

In myths and legends of the world, dragons are often fire-breathing, creatures with huge claws.
They are usually portrayed as frightening and destructive monsters.
But our cute baby dragon is nothing like it. He brings you power, happiness,
and fertility and we believe, he will bring good fortune and wealth to you.
You could fly around town with him, have adventures together, and have a little protector who would defend you against all bullies.
He is probably one of the single most important mythical creatures in our culture and history.

Aurora Charms Hatching Dragon Summary

It’s not secret that I’m a huge fan of the fantasy genre and I’ve been dabbling with Game of Thrones charm bracelets for a couple of years. Whether you’re a fan of the series or the genre in generally this is such a cute charm!

I do have one on the way so be sure to follow me on social media (Facebook and Instagram) for the fastest live images once it arrives here.

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the Aurora Charms Hatching Dragon? Hit the comments and let me know!

This bead is so cute!! And, I love that they have weighed it so that it doesn’t flip. I hate flippers. I am always disappointed when I buy a beautiful bead, put it on my necklace and it flips. It is a bit pricey, so I will have to save up for it (still recovering from the bead break and still have money saved for Dragon and Phoenix- just in case I am lucky). But, this is definitely at the top of my list.

I’ts very cute and I’ve posted a couple of live images to my social media πŸ™‚ It’s larger than I thought – and this is the second time an Aurora delivery has proved that way (which I consider a good thing!)

It is cute but I’ll for your live images. On stock pictures alone, I think I prefer the Redbalifrog’s one. He looks more realistic.

I’ve posted a couple to social media this afternoon πŸ™‚ He’s just “different” to Redbalifrog’s I think. I guess on some level it’s hard not to compare but for me.. more baby dragons is always going to be a good thing πŸ˜‰

This is adorable! I like the fact that it’s weighted because I can’t stand it when the bead turns around. It’s going to have to wait though before I can decide if I want to get it. I went way over the budget already and I still want a few more of the True Beadz retirement beads. I know once they are gone that’s it. I’ve also been trying to get some of the harder to find beads that I’ve been wanting for awhile. This collecting thing is fun and frustrating at the same time, mostly because I want everything!

It’s always SO hard to prioritise. I know that so well. The wishlists just keep on growing and for most of us the money coming in doesn’t increase :O

This little guy will hopefully be around a while πŸ˜‰

There have been quite a few times I have passed on something thinking “oh I’ll get it later.” Then; when I decide to look for it, it’s nowhere to be found. I still have trouble trying to figure out what I need to go after right away and what can wait.

That’s why it’s always worth noting the status of the beads. Bead of the Month designs from Ohm have to be prioritised because you just never know. Their “normal” limited editions usually linger for a couple of months – I think I remember Mike saying they try to make enough to last out a season but it doesn’t always go that way of course. Anything retired.. well.. Generally buy those where you can πŸ˜‰ True Treasures? They’re practically extinct before they even leave Julia’s studio πŸ˜›

I found that out last weekend regarding the True Treasures! Never had a chance!!! By the way, I just got my True Tower a few minutes ago! I consider myself extremely lucky to have gotten that. And it’s just as wonderful as I thought it would be! I’m planning a True Beadz Medieval bracelet after I’m done getting the retirement beads I want.

          • endangeredtrolls

Yeah… The scramble for the True Treasures in store was crazy πŸ˜€ That’s why I started filming. I never even *saw* them πŸ˜€

I’m so pleased that you love your True Tower though. It’s a really lovely bead I think πŸ˜€

            xoxo

  4. Kelly Cressman

I just got him. He’s really cute. I am a bit disappointed in the weight. He tends to constantly face down. He doesn’t sit up straight on my bracelet. 😞

    • endangeredtrolls

I’m noticing the same though I haven’t featured him in a review yet. He’s not flipping… but he’s definitely got a forward tilt so the baby dragon looks like he’s gazing down at the floor.

      xoxo
