ACA Kreations Metal I Inspiration (& Launch Alert)

This charm bracelet blog celebrates the launch of the ACA Kreations Metal I glass with a little inspiration.

In fifteen minutes the ACA Kreations Metal I glass will launch exclusively at Great Lakes Boutique as we celebrate the start of the fall season. It’s a busy few weeks for us, most notably with the Halloween Bead Bash on the Lake fast approaching but we wanted to mark the start of the new season with something special.

Metal I is aptly named as it uses copper within the glass for a really unusual aesthetic. Feedback during the preview has seen people finding all kinds of inspiration for the bead from steampunk and traditional fall bracelets through to Native American ideas.

The bead is retailing at $50 and is limited to three hundred pieces. The entire stock will soon be live at Great Lakes Boutique and we ship globally for free.

I’d actually wanted to share this bracelet combination earlier in the day but as usual it seems, I’m running behind schedule. Please forgive me. I really wanted to use the bracelet on something distinctly autumn inspired as I love the season. With pre-orders for the Trollbeads Autumn 2018 collection now live, I opted for some of their fall silver beads. Hopefully this will give you a chance to have a little more idea of their sizing and how they can work in a full bracelet. I’ve also included the Ohm Beads Pre-Wine which launches globally on Monday!

I’ve mixed the ACA Kreations Metal I with some retired Chocolate Parrot glass, some sparkly Feldspar Moonstones and a couple of darker Emeralds.

ACA Kreations Metal I Summary

This is a really unusual glass bead and so striking. For those of you who need an easy option for styling it, it looks amazing on copper (or rose gold as it is below.) Wearing it on a bangle means a couple of them can flank a focal silver and you don’t actually need to worry about coordinating the bead with other glass or stones.

I hope I counted correctly! Doing this on my phone always messes me up!

The new website will be more user friendly for mobile devices 🙁 I know it’s awful right now

You’re a bad influence, Victoria! I hadn’t meant to indulge but then I saw your awesome combos, and you hooked me right in. Just ordered a pair. That’s the thing with wearing mostly bangles, it seems like I need two of things these days, lol. 😁

I really do love your bracelets shown here. Gorgeous, sumptuous designs.

Yeah but it’s better than wearing bracelets and needing like 8 or 9 😉

I liked this bracelet too!! Which I know sounds arrogant but I actually did 😀

Hahaha, very true! I still remember my great Meteor hunt, and all the angst I felt in trying to find any at first. And I ended up with a ridiculous number of them. They do make for an amazing bracelet though. 😉

          I loved those Meteors… 😛

And you should like the things you make!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Sometimes I try and use colours that I’d not personally wear and I end up with bracelets I think should be on the blog (cause I can’t only show the colours I like :p) but don’t personally like the end result. Pinks are usually an example here :p

Other times I make bracelets and look at them and think something isn’t just quite right… but due to time constraints it’s a shame to trash a full set of article images just because it feels off to me.

It’s not very often that I make a bracelet I truly love 😀

Thank you for the reminder. I just got home from volunteering all day and happened to look here (yes, I realize that I have a bead problem). I was actually so tired that I had forgotten about the launch (even though I had remembered it just this morning). Now, I am fortunate enough to have been able to buy two – and they look lovely. I love your bracelets above. Wonderful ideas.

Congrats you hit this one pretty good. It is probably your first try but I really like the bracelet is that the Trollbeads Parrot ? I like your stone selection even though I have none of them going to have to check the bead box to find subs.
Interesting to complement both the green and the Copper rather than just going with just emphasizing either the Copper or the Green ? Trying to figure what lock you used?
Not a fan of the Bangle Designs, that Spirograph bothers me just seems too white with the Copper and Green. Have you tried it with Browns or Rust?
