ACA Kreations March 2018 Collection Preview

This charm bracelet blog brings a preview of the ACA Kreations March 2018 releases and news of the bi-annual sale.

Closing on what’s been an exciting few days for fans of ACA Kreations comes a preview of the new March releases. For those new to ACA Kreations, Alex has a bi-annual event where he offers free shipping. With shipping costs now absolutely enormous from Denmark, this is actually pretty significant. This offer will begin on March the 8th and alongside it comes a couple of new design launches, including the very anticipated release of the first glass beads.

ACA Kreations Froggo

The first of the new designs from Alex for 2018 is the ACA Kreations Froggo. I’m fortunate enough to have this little (actually not so little,) guy in hand and I will be pushing out live images ahead of his launch. This is the first of a planned series of the seven samurai (frogs.) He’ll be retailing at 950 DKK which equates to roughly $157 or €128.

The detailing on the bead is incredible and I have a suspicion there’s the possibility for this line to become more popular than Alex’s original troll designs.

ACA Kreations Glass

Also launching on March the 8th are the first two ACA Kreations glass designs. These will be Organic Matter No I and Black Mass No I. The glass come with universal cores and each series will be limited to three hundred pieces. Organic Matter will retail at 375 DKK ($62 or €50,) while Black Mass will retail at 275 DKK ($45 or €37.)

As always I love to hear from my readers. What are your thoughts on the new ACA Kreations Froggo and glass beads? Will you be indulging in either or are you hoping to get the final retiring designs before they vanish? Hit the comments and let me know!

I am really liking the Black Mass and will be getting a couple. It looks beautiful and very versetile. I think it will go well with TB MarbleπŸ™‚

    • endangeredtrolls

I haven’t actually seen that one in person I must admit. Of the two I prefer Organic Matter but I do think Black Mass will be more versatile as you say πŸ™‚

  2. Lisa G

I want 2 of the black mass also.

  3. Elizabeth

I am pretty sure that this release will break the Internet. I would be fine with one of each glass and samauri. My eyes are crossed since my fingers need to be ready!

    • Jenifer

      Agreed

    • endangeredtrolls

I think there’s 100 of each glass design and then however many of Froggo he has made. I’m sure the website will handle it though so far not πŸ™‚

  4. Tanya

This is a beautiful collection and Alex is very talented of course, but I’m not going to lie, I’m disappointed in the prices. It seems whenever a brand gets popular, the prices increase rapidly. I remember what I paid for Sakura barrel just last year and I also don’t think I would pay $65 for glass. I still have my eyes on Pisces and plan on picking up the GLB event bead, but unfortunately this may be getting too expensive for my taste.

    • endangeredtrolls

I don’t think Alex has raised his prices particularly. The Sakura Barrel was always very cheap for his work. If you compare it to his other pieces, the pricing of that was always out of line. He’s always been considered expensive compared to other mainstream brands or even artisans I guess.

    • Nereida

Artisans starting out would have a hard time charging what a bead is worth because they don’t have a following. After they do they can command a price more in line with the time they put in. Artists are people like us. They don’t want to be starving artists and would like to have a comfortable, secure life, with funds for more than bare necessities, jyst like we do. His pric ex have deginitely gone up. I consi de r mtself lucky to have been able to get his esrlier pieces forless because he was just starting out.

  5. Katie

I love the Organic Matter bead. Black Mass would be my second choice. Froggo looks wonderful, but I’d like to see where the series is going (and it will probably sell out before I can figure that out). I might try to pick up a Pisces bead. I have regretted not getting that when it was originally out. Or, maybe I should try to save my money for something in the future (yeah, I can barely stop laughing at that idea as I type).

    • endangeredtrolls

      Organic Matter *with* Froggo πŸ˜‰

      • Katie

The more that I look at Froggo, the more that I like him…. But, I’ll still focus on Organic Matter first. Then, if I’m lucky, maybe Froggo….

      • Pippa

*Two* Organic Matter with Froggo πŸ™‚

        • Katie

Two would be incredible. I’m trying to manage my dreams by hoping to luck into one. I really do love that Organic Matter bead and I do prefer two beads (I think that they look better on a necklace with two). Fingers crossed.

  6. Martha Olavarrieta

Froggo, Tupilak, and the glass for me. I can’t wait. Thanks for the update Victoria.

  7. Marie

Please clarify, is Organic Matter the bead shown with Tupilak in the above preview?

Really liking the Samuri Frog concept!

    • endangeredtrolls

No, they’re Trollbeads πŸ™‚ Mookaite Energy Kit beads to be precise πŸ™‚

  8. Dee

Lovely release, & I’m looking forward to seeing live pictures of Froggo – in my mind he’s the same size as Alex’s Trolls, but maybe he’s larger?

Is there any news yet of which beads are likely to have price reductions in the sale? trying to prioritise whether to go for one of the new releases or pick up some of the final restocks (decisions decisions…)

  9. kathie

looking forward to when these become available, is there a certain time we can start foaming at the mouth and poking the keys on computer to buy these? They look quite lovely and i would be proud to own one(or more)

  10. Martha Olavarrieta

I love Froggo, such a cool bead. Since he’s not limited, I would like to get Hellboy and Tupilak (creepy, but cute). And nice I need the event bead, I’m planning on attending. Don’t know if I’ll make it, but definitely planning on it.

  11. Allison

The glass are so neat, and his new Froggo is so detailed! I hope I’m lucky enough to get one of each of the glass. Do you know, is his site still set up so that once it’s in your cart you have a few minutes to check out & nobody can β€œsteal” it out of your cart?

    • endangeredtrolls

      Hey Allison πŸ™‚

It had changed at his November sale so it was fastest to check out – similar to Great Lakes’. It actually wasn’t Alex’s choice. Unfortunately most e-commerce sites function that way. The majority of online stores aren’t selling products that vary and therefore need to be “reserved” πŸ™ It’s really hard to find a platform that will allow for reserves πŸ™

If I were you I’d check with him to be sure πŸ™‚
